  • Supporting Citizens Engagements towards the 2023 General Election in Nigeria:

    This seeks to improve citizens’ participation and stakeholders’ engagement towards a violence-free, and credible General Election in Nigeria. Animators were trained on election observation and the use of Caritas/JDPC election observation app.

  • Promote religious freedom in local communities in Nigeria

    This was a one year project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). It was aimed at promoting religious freedom in Kaduna state, North West Nigeria and Benue state, North central Nigeria. DPI worked in four (4) local government areas consisting of 8 communities.

  • Traditional Rock Cook stove initiative

    Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria (CCFN) in partnership with SUN24 and Kaduna provincial JDPC trained women in our archdiocese on how to reduce emissions and promote and promote healthy being among women and society, through the use of traditional rock cook stove

  • Collective Action for Adolescent Girls Initiative (CAAGI)

    This was a two year pilot project supported by Christian Aid.

    A Community Peace Building Initiative was implemented in Jema’a and Zaria LGAs of Kaduna State.

  • Increasing Citizens’ Popular Participation in Governance

    A CAFOD/CCFN support programme. It was implemented in 6 communities of 3 LGAs (Kaduna North, Kaduna South and Chikun) October, 2016 – March, 2017

  • Access to Justice for the Poor Project

    Building capacity of community leaders on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Television, Kakuri, Barnawa and Kurmin Mashi of Kaduna South. (April 2014 – June 2015)

  • Savings Internal Lending in Communities (SILC):

    a project supported by CRS/USAID to build capacities of individuals in communities to develop saving culture amongst them as a strategy for self-reliant and sufficiency.

  • PROMIC is an acronym; Promoting Micro Enterprises in Communities

    It was a Swisshand Foundation support programme that disbursed loans to over 320 beneficiaries across six communities namely: Kajuru, Kagarko, Ka

  • Emergency Preparedness Response:

    Training that built partners’ and community’s capacities. Local Teams were formed and taught on Early Warning signs and Early Response to violent crime and natural disaster in the event they occur.
